All aerial classes are now operating on a four week schedule. Each session requires preregistration. Read at bottom of page for all details or see all details on our FAQs page here.

Lyra I & II – Beginner to Advanced Beginner Lyra (60 mins combination class)

This 60-minute class combines Lyra I and Lyra II, catering to both beginners and advanced beginners.

Lyra I (Beginner)
For those new to Lyra, you'll focus on building foundational skills like strength, flexibility, and basic techniques such as inversions, rolls, and spins. Classes begin with a warm-up to prepare your body for the apparatus.

Lyra II (Advanced Beginner)
For students ready to progress, this portion builds on the basics. You’ll work on more advanced skills, including new transitions and tricks, with a focus on refining your technique and pushing your strength and creativity.

The class is capped at eight students, with personalized guidance for each level. Instructor approval is required for Lyra II. Open to adults 18+ and teens 13-17 with permission.

Open Fly – Self-Guided Training (60 mins)

For experienced aerialists ready to train independently, Open Fly provides a self-directed space to practice your act or workout. Instructor approval is required prior to attendance, ensuring safety and skill level. You may also use this time to demonstrate essential skills for instructor sign-off.

No coaching assistance is provided during this session, so participants must stick to skills within their own ability level. Open to adults 18+ and teens 13-17 with instructor permission.

*Every 4 week session purchase includes two Open Fly session passes. Please check with your instructor to be sure you are ready for independent practice.

Vertical I - Beginner Silks (60 mins)

Ready to explore the exciting world of aerial silks? This beginner-friendly class introduces the fundamentals of silks, focusing on building strength, control, and flexibility. In a supportive, fun environment, you’ll learn the basics like climbing, inverting, locks, and spins. The class begins with a dynamic warm-up to get you prepared for movement.

With a small class size of eight students, you'll receive personalized instruction to help you progress confidently. Perfect for youth and adults ages 13 and up!

Trapeze I - ADVANCED Beginner Trapeze- 60 mins (instructor approval needed to attend) 

This 60-minute class is designed for advanced beginner students ready to build on their aerial skills. Instructor approval is required to attend.

Class Overview:
The class begins with dynamic floor warm-ups and conditioning to enhance strength, flexibility, control, and body awareness. Students will then progress to techniques on the trapeze, learning how to mount, hang, invert, roll, tuck, pike, and straddle. As students develop these foundational skills, they will also learn to incorporate spinning and dynamic movements.

Throughout the class, students will refine their aerial vocabulary and focus on both static and dynamic techniques. It is recommended that students take introductory classes in silks and/or Lyra before enrolling in this trapeze class. Please contact Sanctuary Climbing & Fitness for placement.

  • If a class is not full, a drop in is welcome at a non member rate of $45 and a member rate of $40, please call the front desk to purchase a drop in.

Class Series Guidelines:

  • 4-Week Class Series: Each session runs for four consecutive weeks.

  • Series Schedule: Classes follow a set schedule each week, and attendance is expected for the full series.

  • No Make-ups: There are no make-up classes, except in the event that the instructor needs to cancel a class.

Open Fly Passes: Every 4-week series includes 2 additional open fly passes, allowing students to practice independently outside of class time. Additional Open Fly passes do not roll over into the next series calendar.
