If you weren’t already upset, our auto-belay (Redpoint Descender) units are still under a “Stop Use” Notice. Following several incidents of unsafe lowering at a number of climbing facilities, MSA (manufacturer of Repoint Descenders) has issued a stop-use for all units. They are conducting an investigation into the events and when we know more, you will know more.
