SRG’s Activities for Kids
Children are the future of everything, including climbing. Our kids programs are designed with a ground-up approach, laying a foundation for a safe and healthy climbing career. All SRG staff are trained to work with kids of all ages and focus on providing support for any need. We provide a number of programs throughout the year to fit your families schedule.
Birthday Parties: Click here for information on having your next party at Sanctuary Rock Gym.
Kids Month: A one-month membership with Gear Rental included. Includes full access for 30 days, childs rental gear, adult Belay Class and harness rental. Climbers must be accompanied by an Adult. Cost: $60/Month. Ages 13 and under. Includes guest privleges, one per visit.
Private Belaying: We offer private Belaying for kid’s. This is not an instructional hour, just an hour with a knowledgeable Gym Guide who will give basic instruction and technique to assist climbers in enjoying the Gym. When: By Reservation, with 24 hours notice. Cost: $30/hour(Inc. Rental gear & Day Use). Each additional child add $20.00.
Parents and Kids: Bring in a young one for a day of climbing! This basic package includes a child’s day pass and rental equipment (shoes and harness) plus belay instruction and a harness for one adult. Perfect for a first time climbers. No reservation needed. Cost: $24 per child and adult.
Kids Clinics - An experienced SRG Guide will instruct climbers on basic climbing technique’s, knot tying, Belaying, Slackline skills and more. Climbers will be instructed based on individual skill levels but everyone plays together regardless of their skill level. Ages 8 – 14. When: Tuesday’s from 4:00 – 6:00pm. Cost: $25/includes Rental Gear and SRG Guide.
Summer Camp – If you are lucky enough to have been to one of our camps then you know how much fun it is, if not, then here is just some of what goes on: Climbing, Slackline, Fun, King Swing, Climbing, Zip-Line, obstacle course, Fun, Climbing, water balloon launcher, arts & crafts, movies, Fun, Climbing, knot tying, 30′ swings, climb the outside of our building, routesetting, Climbing, Games, Fun and more. When: Camp runs Monday – Thursday, from 10:00am – 2:00pm. Who: Ages 6 – 13. Cost: $40/day or $140/week(save$20)
Dates: 6/21 – 6/24; 6/28 -07/01; 07/05 – 07/08; 07/19 – 07/22; 8/2 – 8/5; 8/23 – 8/26
