    Foreplay (5.11b ***)
A no-hands rest is possible at the cave, and the first crux is getting over the bulge above the cave. The second crux is a dicey lay-back move two bolts above the first.

    Foreplay (5.11b ***)
David gets ready for his epic adventure on Foreplay. Stay tuned for the rest of the saga.

David's epic adventure on Foreplay continues as he works through the exposed moves to the first bolt.

    Post Orgasmic Depression (P.O.D.) (5.10d ***)
P.O.D. is probably the most popular climb on the Monolith. A slightly over-hung, blocky route with a nearly straight line up the face, it is probably the most gym-like climb in the park. The old guide book rates it at 5.11a, but more recently it has been called a 5.10d.

Monolith East Face Direct Route (5.6 R+ **)
As with many of the easier climbs in the park, the run-out between bolts is fairly extreme, offering potential deck falls between several bolts. A fearful climber can sling a knob or two for added security.

Monolith East Face Direct Route (5.6 R+ **)
9 year old Mariah shows us how easy the climb is. The climb is the easiest way to the top of the Monolith, and as a top-rope it is a great first outdoor climb, and a great spot to learn to rappel.

    Feed the Beast (5.11c ***)
David makes the first clip on Feed the Beast, a short, overhung sport-climb on the Monolith. Feed the beast is one of the best 5.11's in the park.

    Cantaloupe Death (5.10c*)
Cantaloupe Death has a hard start (5.12a) and an easy start (5.10c) that requires a step-across from a near-by boulder. The presence of the boulder gives the climb its name, as a fall while clipping the third bolt could be unpleasant.

Rocket in My Pocket (5.10d ***)
The Rocket is a pretty fun climb on the North face. The moves between the 2nd and 3rd bolts requires either a rigorous balancy move off some tiny edges, or an easier, but committed lay-back, as seen here.

    Men at Work (5.11b *)
Men at Work boulder is often neglected, although it has several short, but nice, climbs. Men at Work includes some really pumpy moves under an overhanging flake, to a very thin stretch over a bulge.
